  After watching A&E Leah Remini on Jehovah Witnesses I am going to stop hiding behind my Avatar

  just got done watching this program and what impress me the most was the bravery of those x-witnesses to sit there on national tv and tell everyone how the wt.

  cult affected them.

  no hidden faces, no avatar names and no disguise.

  This last weekend we showed the A&E program to 5 people and had discussions throughout the viewing. They could not believe their eyes. Another friend did watch it on tv and told me she had no idea what Barb and I went through. Horrible just horrible then she gave me a big hug and told me how brave we were to leave. All mention we need to get a large group together to watch it. We are looking into that. Also many ask what can they say to jw who knock on their door. We told them to say we are not interested in a religion that protects pedophile and shuns the one who was abused. They all took that to heart.

  Also two of them called the wt. a fascist regime. One was a lawyer and the other was a lady who escape from Germany at the beginning of world war 2. We thought is was a very interesting insight. That was our weekend. Still Totally ADD aka David Winner

  A big shout out to the NHS

  last week i suffered two heart attacks, first one occurred while i was at home, phoned for an ambulance which promptly arrived and whisked me off too hospital, docs decided i needed a stent and during the angioplasty i had a massive heart attack according to the doc that did it.

  i was unaware as i was out.

  but what i want to say is what an amazing organisation the nhs is.

  there are amazing people that are here and this site.

  people with their incredible stories of religious abuse.

  these people like the courageous people who were on the a&e show this last week have showed me and thousands of others the power of how just one person or even a small group of people can effect many.. the power of just one person standing up and saying "this is not right" has changed history.

  Should Voters Be Made To Prove They Are Eligible To Vote?

  i believe that just because someone shows up at the voting booth, it doesn’t automatically qualify them to be legitimate voters.

  i think it’s not unreasonable to provide proof that you are qualified..

  smiddy3 that is pretty much what we do in New York except there is no laws making you register at 18. Here you are free to register if you want to vote but if you don't you can't vote. Like where you live when we go to vote they look up your name in a book and sign in. We live in a small community and everyone knows who you are. Plus we have 5 poll workers and one police man watching everything. Still Totally ADD

  Vidiot we understand fully where you are at. I do not want anyone to feel like they are being forced to come out. Everyone circumstances are diffrent. We understand.
